The latest technology automotive development is the need of automobile industry. Students are encouraged to acquire the knowledge of recent technology and actual maintenance of various types of vehicles. The syllabus of Automobile Engg. is proposed to be designed in association with reputed automobile National, International manufacturers & Professionals so that our students are fully trained through practical training.
THE LABORATORIES IN THE DEPARTMENT
AUTO CHASSIS LAB
The lab is fully equipped with light and heavy vehicle chassis. Different types of vehicle systems like suspension, differential, steering etc are shown in due manner. This lab is having three main sections, like heavy vehicle, light vehicle & two wheeler section. Studies related to these topics are carried out in this laboratory.
AUTO ELECTRICAL LAB
The lab refers to wiring diagrams, different electrical and electronic components, various circuits. Students can get knowledge regarding different solenoids, primary and secondary connections, starting aids and starter connections, Lights and their connections. Students perform practical concerned with above topics.
POWER ENGINE LAB
The lab is having facility for trial on two stroke and four stroke petrol engine and also diesel engine, multi cylinder four stroke petrol engine (morse test). Students can calculate different periferent performance characteristics of engines in this laboratory.
AUTO MAINTENANCE LAB
Actual maintenance plays the vital role in building the automobile engineers. Well equipped maintenance lab is heart of Automobile Engineering department. Students can perform different schedule as well as brake down maintenance with proper instruments. Computerized wheel alignment machine and wheel balancing machine are specially utilized to train the students.
