Putting this aspiration in the mind Shri Gulabrao Deokar College of Engineering was established in 1999. Which is a affiliated to the North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.

Shri Gulabrao Deokar Polytechnic, Jalgaon, formerly known as Shri Sureshdada Jain Polytechnic is established on August 28,1997 by Shrikrishna Educational & Cultural Mandal, Jalgaon with the sole objective of promoting quality education to the young and deserving students in the field of engineering and technology. The Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi vide a letter no. F-740-89-165(E) ET/97 dated Aug. 28,1997 and recognized by the Govt. of Maharashtra vide letter on. 2/NJP/1097/36377 dated Oct 08, 1997.
